EID UL FITR - 1445

DATE: March 31st, Monday

The masjid follows the sunnah of local moon sighting every month, especially for Ramadan and Eid. Therefore, based on the sighting of the moon, the Eid-ul-Fitr this year will be Monday, March 31st.

EID Salah: 9:15am

Taraweeh - Khatam

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah (taala), we have been performing the Sunnah Taraweeh prayers every day after the Isha Salah, and intend to complete the recitation of the entire Quran by the 29th night of Ramadan (Friday, March 28th, 2024).

The Khatam will be followed by a brief Dua, In Sha Allah.

Important Dates

Last Ten Nights: Starting Thursday night (March 20th) from Maghrib

Odd nights: March 20th, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 28th.

Quran Khatam (in Taraweeh): Friday Night, March 28th

Eid: Sunday, March 30th, or Monday, March 31st (depending on the moonsighting).

Moon Sighting - Ramadan 1445

The masjid follows the sunnah of local moon sighting every month, especially for Ramadan and Eid. Since the moon was sighted on the sunset of Sunday, Feb 28th, 2025 in the United States and in Los Alamos, we will begin Ramadan 1445 (fasting) on March 1st, 2024.
